Prior to joining Corpedia, Ms. Salmon Byrne practiced with DLA Piper in Washington, DC, where she focused in the areas of internal investigations, enforcement actions, government audits, and international law. Ms. Salmon Byrne has advocated on behalf of clients in front of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Northern District of Georgia, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and the House of Representatives’ Permanent Subcommittee’ for Oversight and Investigations. In addition, she assisted multinational companies in complying with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and U.S. Export Controls.

Ms. Salmon Byrne received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University, a Master of Arts degree with Highest Distinction from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Salmon Byrne is currently serving as adjunct faculty, teaching business ethics in the Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, a department ranked the top three in the world by the Wall Street Journal for teaching ethics.

Eric Morehead is Senior Compliance Counsel for Compliance Advisory Services for Corpedia, Inc., a leading ethics, compliance, and risk assessment consulting company and licensed credentialing partner of the Ethisphere Institute. Mr. Morehead works with Corpedia’s varied clients to build and enhance their compliance programs. This work includes compliance program creation and assessment utilizing the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines and industry best practices as the foundation for review. Mr. Morehead also aids organizations by creating Codes of Conduct and policies, by providing training on specific ethics and compliance topics such as anti-corruption, and by providing detailed benchmarking information and program recommendations.

Prior to joining Corpedia, Mr. Morehead was an Assistant General Counsel of the United States Sentencing Commission in Washington, DC. In this position, he was responsible for assisting members of the Commission by researching, developing, and drafting amendments of the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, with a particular focus on the Organizational Sentencing Guidelines. In addition, in this role he chaired the policy team that revised and strengthened organizational ethics and compliance best practices. Previous to his role with the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Mr. Morehead was a litigation associate at Hinton, Sussman, Bailey & Davidson in Houston, Texas, focusing on white-collar and regulatory cases where he represented clients at trial and before various agencies including SEC, OSHA and CFTC. His litigation experience includes representing clients facing violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, antitrust laws, and other serious fraud allegations. A frequent speaker at ethics and compliance related events, Mr. Morehead’s experience in dealing with serious ethics and compliance failures, coupled with his knowledge of government policy and expectations, can provide valuable insight for organizations.

Mr. Morehead received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law.

In his role as Director of Risk Assessment and Analysis, Mr. Leffel has consulted with dozens of corporations on the design, implementation, or review of effective compliance programs, including culture and risk assessments, organizational health surveys, program reviews, and benchmarking. Mr. Leffel’s work includes implementation of ECERA® (Enterprise Compliance and Ethics Risk Assessment) projects for global clients, compliance and ethics program consulting, as well as optimal training program planning. This includes advising clients on the types of training necessary, optimal content mix, target audiences, timelines, and prioritization.

Mr. Leffel has 20 years of global experience in cross-cultural communications, risk management, branding, strategy, management consulting, research, and analysis. Prior to joining Corpedia, Mr. Leffel worked for Cohen Arnold & Co., Bausch & Lomb, Remy-Cointreau, and First Data Corp.

Mr. Leffel earned his bachelor’s degree from the Gediminas University in Europe and his MBA from Thunderbird School of International Management in the United States. He also holds a diploma from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, where he studied audit, accounting, and business law.

Prior to joining Corpedia, Ms. Campisano worked at the Rose Law Group in Scottsdale, Arizona as an Associate involved in drafting and presenting regulatory amendments to the state legislature. Previously, she was the Legislative Director of an Anchorage-based law firm in Washington, D.C. In that capacity, she advised corporate, Native, and municipal clients on a variety of matters before the federal government, including government contracting, appropriations, transportation, and energy issues. Ms. Campisano’s experience also includes serving as an Associate with a bipartisan lobbying firm, where she advocated before Congress and the Administration on telecommunications issues, trade, and the environment.

Elaine Ott is an expert on compliance and ethics issues and has worked with various clients to create, evaluate, implement, and manage their corporate compliance initiatives. Ms. Ott has an extensive background in project management and compliance consulting, as well as in program development and assessment, training, and account management. Ms. Ott’s work includes oversight of client consulting engagements, compliance consulting, and timeline strategies. Throughout her career, she has advised numerous clients on their compliance needs and has created training for dozens of clients on various topics, including codes of conduct, data privacy, conflicts of interest, and so forth.

Prior to joining Corpedia, Ms. Ott worked for the President’s Office at Arizona State University in the office of Pan American Initiatives. During her time in the President’s Office, Ms. Ott led various programs and projects with a focus on key strategic initiatives between the State of Arizona and the State of Sonora, Mexico. She also worked to create and establish other international collaborations such as AzGATES and the establishment of the North American Center for Transborder Studies. Previously, Ms. Ott also served as executive editor for Scholargy Publishing.
