Erica Salmon Byrne

Erica Salmon Byrne serves as the Senior Vice President, Compliance Advisory Services for Corpedia, a leading ethics, compliance and risk assessment consulting company and licensed credentialing partner of the Ethisphere Institute. Ms. Salmon Byrne works closely with Corpedia and Ethisphere’s varied clients in addressing their compliance needs, including evaluating compliance programs against the hallmarks laid out in the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines and drafting training programs. In addition, Ms. Salmon Byrne serves as the Methodology Director of the Ethisphere Institute, the leading international think-tank dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability.
Prior to joining Corpedia, Ms. Salmon Byrne practiced with DLA Piper in Washington, DC, where she focused in the areas of internal investigations, enforcement actions, government audits and international law. Ms. Salmon Byrne has advocated on behalf of clients in front of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Northern District of Georgia, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the House of Representatives’ Permanent Subcommittee’ for Oversight and Investigations. In addition, she assisted multinational companies in complying with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and U.S. Export Controls.
Ms. Salmon Byrne received a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University, a Master of Arts degree with Highest Distinction from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctor cum laude from the Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Salmon Byrne is currently serving as adjunct faculty, teaching business ethics in the Department of Business Ethics and Legal Studies in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, a department ranked the top three in the world by the Wall Street Journal for teaching ethics.

Eric Morehead
Senior Compliance Counsel, Compliance Advisory Services
Eric Morehead is Senior Compliance Counsel for Compliance Advisory Services for Corpedia, Inc., a leading ethics, compliance and risk assessment consulting company and licensed credentialing partner of the Ethisphere Institute. Mr. Morehead works with Corpedia and Ethisphere‘s varied clients to build and enhance their compliance programs. This work includes compliance program creations and assessments which are both done utilizing the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines as the foundation of review as well as creating organizational Code of Conduct and policies. In addition, Mr. Morehead serves as a Contributing Director of the Ethisphere Institute, the leading international think-tank dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability.
Prior to joining Corpedia, Mr. Morehead was the Assistant General Counsel of the United States Sentencing Commission in Washington, DC. In this position, he was responsible for assisting members of the Commission by researching, developing and drafting amendments of the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines, with a particular focus on the Organizational Sentencing Guidelines. In addition, in this role he chaired the policy team that revised and strengthened organizational ethics and compliance best practices. Previous to his role with the U.S. Sentencing Commission, Mr. Morehead was a litigation associate at Hinton, Sussman, Bailey & Davidson in Houston, Texas focusing on white-collar cases and representing clients before various agencies including SEC, OSHA and FERC.
Mr. Morehead received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law.

Mr. Leffel is one of the leading experts on compliance and ethics programs for Corpedia, a leading ethics, compliance and risk assessment consulting company and licensed credentialing partner of the Ethisphere Institute. In this capacity, he has consulted dozens of corporations on the design, implementation or review of effective compliance programs, including culture and risk assessments, organizational health surveys, program reviews and benchmarking. Mr. Leffel’s work includes implementation of ECERA® (Enterprise Compliance and Ethics Risk Assessment) projects for global clients, compliance and ethics program consulting, as well as optimal training program planning. This includes advising clients on types of training necessary, optimal content mix, target audiences, timeline and prioritization. Mr. Leffel also serves as a Contributing Director of the Ethisphere Institute, the leading international think-tank dedicated to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anticorruption and sustainability.
Mr. Leffel has 15 years of global experience in cross-cultural communications, risk management, branding, strategy, management consulting, research and analysis. Prior to joining Ethisphere, Mr. Leffel worked for Cohen Arnold & Co., Bausch & Lomb, Remy-Cointreau and First Data Corp.
Mr. Leffel earned his bachelor’s degree from the Gedimino Institute of Technology in Europe and his MBA from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management in the United States. He also holds a diploma from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, where he studied audit, accounting and business law.
