Corpedia Wins Best Compliance Training Award
Corpedia Corporation is proud to announce that it has been named to Elearning! Magazine’s “Best of 2007” list in the Compliance Training category. As the only winner in its division, Corpedia won praises from online voters for its “easy to use” and “well-designed online modules," its legal and industry expertise that help implement appropriate training solutions and an overall “enjoyable” experience despite topics that can otherwise seem tedious and uninteresting.
Readers and professionals from hundreds of organizations submitted nominations and cast votes for the best e-learning vendors. Elearning! Vice President, JW Upton, congratulated Corpedia on their award by emphasizing that, “The vote is not from [the magazine] or from a panel of people we choose, it’s from the users of [Corpedia’s] product.”
In announcing the finalists, Elearning! Editorial Director Jerry Roche underscored the importance of the awards in an industry where many vendors are selected based on word of mouth and referrals: “This awards program provides a venue for adopters to share what brands and solutions really work for them.”
Winners were chosen in 12 categories that also included: Best LMS, Best Virtual Classroom Solution, Best Web Conferencing Solution, Best IT Content and Leadership Training. Ballots for the awards were cast between September 1 and November 30, 2007 and each was reviewed and validated by the magazine’s editorial team. Thirty-six finalists were revealed on December 1, and Elearning!’s Winter Edition in January 2008 revealed the winners.

For Corpedia, this award comes on the heels of recognition received in the 2007 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards. Awarded late last year, Corpedia received a Silver Medal along with Interpublic Group of Companies in the Custom Content Category for the custom course, “Business Ethics in Action: Winning For Your Clients, Your Company, and Yourself.”
